The Rev. Martin Zielinski, Ph.D.

Vice President for Ongoing Formation

 

The Rev. Martin Zielinski is a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago and currently serves as Vice President for Ongoing Formation of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake.  In that capacity, he administers the various programs of professional and continuing education offered by USML.  He served as a full time parish priest at Saint Margaret Mary Parish before being appointed to the faculty of Mundelein Seminary where he is currently associate professor of church history.  Father Zielinski served two terms as Dean of the Graduate School of Theology.  As a theological educator, Father Zielinski has been active with the Midwest Association of Theological Schools, the American Catholic Historical Association and the U.S. Catholic Historical Society.  He holds a doctorate in church history from the Catholic University of America.

 

 

Megan Deichl

Associate Director of Ongoing Formation

 

Megan Deichl is the associate director of Ongoing Formation at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake.  She previously worked on the Together in God's Service Program at in the Ministry Formation office of the University.

 

 

The Rev. James P. McIlhone, S.T.L., Ph.D.

Director of the Summer Scripture Seminar

 

The Rev. James P. McIlhone is associate dean of Mundelein Seminary and chairperson of the Department of Biblical Exegesis.  He is the director of the Summer Scripture Seminar.  Father McIlhone served as associate pastor of Our Lady of the Wayside and Santa Maria del Populo Parishes before joining the faculty of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake.  Father McIlhone holds a licentiate in sacred theology from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake and a doctorate in biblical studies from Marquette University.
