Although the Archdiocesan sabbatical program is well known, priests may be unaware of the scholarship program funded by the Archdiocese for their continuing education.

The scholarship fund is intended to supplement the professional growth allowance already available to priests. Scholarship money may be used for specific courses and seminars, or to pursue an advanced degree.

Since degree programs may require a number of years before the goal is achieved, the scholarship renewal is subject to an annual progress review.

Tuition, books and, in the case of out-of-town seminars or summer classes, room and board are covered by scholarship grants.
