Fr. Joel Rippinger, OSB, holds an STB and STL from the Pontifical University of Sant’Anselmo in Rome and an MA in History from the University of Notre Dame. He has written numerous articles on monastic history and spirituality, is a member of the editorial board of the American Benedictine Review, and author
of The Benedictine Order in the United States: An Interpretive History.
