Sacred Music Retreat: A Guided Retreat for Church Musicians
June 24 to June 29, 2007
Fr. Samuel Weber, OSB, retreat master

The retreat includes spiritual talks on the nature of liturgical music, suing Mass and Liturgy of the Hours, spiritual direction, and ample opportunity for private prayer on the beautiful Mundelein campus. A retreat schola will be formed to sing during the Mass of the Solemnity of Saint Peter and Paul, where Most Reverend Peter Sartain, Bishop of Joliet, will serve as principal celebrant. Fr. Samuel Weber is a specialist in Gregorian chant who has prepared the tones for the Mundelein Psalter and has worked extensively in setting the Roman Gradual to English settings. He is a a monk of St. Meinrad Archabbey and a founding faculty member of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity.

Heaven on Earth: Building or Renovating Your Catholic Church

A theological and practical conference on how to envision the church building as a sacrament of heaven.
