Lay Ministry Alumni Project

Launched in 2012, the Lay Ministry Alumni Project (LMAP) provides ongoing formation, continuing education, and peer sharing for graduates of former lay ministry formation programs including Called & Gifted.

The inaugural formation day, “Who Do You Say that I Am?” took place in October 2012 at the University of St. Mary of the Lake.  It was attended by 65 graduates representing 17 cohort years and over 30 parishes.  It was a time of reconnecting with classmates, renewing personal spirituality, sharing with peer ministers, and remembering the energy and camaraderie of previous formation days.

With continued support and attendance from the alumni, LMAP plans to hold 3–4 formation days each year featuring notable presenters.  Relevant topics will be drawn from areas of theology, ministerial skills, catechesis, and spirituality.

If you would like to be added to the LMAP mailing list contact LMAP-USML@comcast.net.

For more information on upcoming formation days, see Events on the Institute's home page.
