Graduated from the Seminario Diocesano de Aguacalientes/ College of Science and Humanities; M.Div., University of Saint Mary of the Lake; Ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago, 1997.  Served as Associate Pastor of St. Gregory the Great Parish and later at St. Ita Parish, Chicago until 2002.  Member of the Association of Chicago Priests.  Served as spiritual director at St. Joseph Seminary and Casa Jesus in Chicago.
