Entrance Requirements   The applicant must be recommended by the sponsoring community’s pastor or agency director. The applicant must be a practicing Catholic, and if married, in a sacramental and canonically valid marriage. The applicant also should have been active in meeting the ministerial needs of the sponsoring community for a least one year. The applicant must be able to read college level texts. There are no formal academic requirements or prerequisites. All applicants must participate in the Opening Retreat, the first weekend following Labor Day. The participant must be willing to make a minimum commitment of two-years of service to the parish or sponsoring Community after completion of the program.
